Dr. Preeti Pandey (MBBS. DOMS. DNB) IS a well known Cataract and Refractive Surgeon, has been a Gold Medalist in Ophthalmology. A brilliant, hardworking and sincere Eye Surgeon with more than 22 years of experience in the field of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Her surgeon’s cap has more than 20,000 Cataract Phaco surgeries and about 2000 Lasik as feathers to it.
Her journey as Eye Surgeon started at Government Medical College Aurangabad in the year 2000, Further joined as Ophthalmology Consultant in MIMER Medical College and Hospital, Pune and later She joined Laxmi Eye Institute as Anterior segment surgeon in 2008. Flourishing further ,under the excellent guidance of Pioneer Surgeon, Dr Suhas Haldipurkar, She started doing complicated Cataract Surgeries like Subluxated Lens, Secondary IOL, Iris clip IOL, with addition of Lasik and other Refractive surgeries like ICL/Phakic IOL to her armamentarium, She achieved another bigger milestone in her surgeon’s life.
She has taken formal training in LASIK from Internationally acclaimed Dr Rupal Shah, way back in 2009 and a Refractive surgery course by world renowned Dr Rohit Shetty, Narayan Nethralaya, Bengaluru.
She has been H.O.D , Phaco Training Department at Laxmi eye institute , Panvel for more than 2 years. Surgical Hands on of Internal Trainees, DNB, DOMS and comprehensive fellows on regular basis. External Ophthalmologists, Indian as well as Foreign Ophthalmologists Phaco /SICS Training along with didatic lectures and one to one discussions were a key to its success. Have trained More than 50 foreign Ophthalmologists and innumerable Indian Ophthalmologists. Foreign Ophthalmologists hailed from all over the world like US, UK, Egypt, Jordan, Germay, Switzerland, Middel East to name a few. Have also Taken International Fellows of 3 months course with Surgical Training.
With continuous hard work and endeavor, and of course, with a vision of eyecare to one and all,She started her own Eyecare Centre ,Sai Netralaya at Ghodbunder road, Thane west in 2017.
