Dr. Preeti Navin Pandey (MBBS: DOMS: DNB), a Gold Medalist in Ophthalmology, is a well-known Cataract and Refractive Surgeon in Mumbai since more than 24 years. A brilliant, hardworking and sincere Eye Surgeon with more years of experience in the field of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Her surgeon’s cap has more than 20,000 Cataract Phaco surgeries and about 2000 Lasik as feathers to it.
Her journey as Eye Surgeon started at Government Medical College Aurangabad in the year 2000. Further joined as Ophthalmology Consultant in MIMER Medical College and Hospital, Pune and later she joined Laxmi Eye Institute as Anterior segment surgeon in 2008. Flourishing further, under the excellent guidance of Pioneer Surgeon, Dr. Suhas Haldipurkar, she started doing complicated Cataract Surgeries like Subluxated Lens, Secondary IOL, Iris clip IOL, with addition of Lasik and other Refractive surgeries like ICL / Phakic IOL to her armamentarium. She achieved another bigger milestone in her surgeon’s life.
With a strong commitment to excellence, and goal of “spectacle free Vision for all” , she has successfully performed thousands of advanced eye surgeries, helping patients achieve clearer vision and improved quality of life.
Dr Preeti Pandey is very well versed in managing all complicated surgeries like post uveitis cataracts, complicated pseudophakias including complicated surgeries like subluxated Cataracts, secondary IOL implantation in Aphakia like Retrofixated Iris Clip IOL ,Post LASIK/Radial keratotomy cataract extractions, Prelex (Presbyopic Lens exchange) for presbyopia patients and Clear lens extraction in High Myopia and High Hyperopia, Piggyback IOL .
As a Refractive surgeon, She is a well accomplished and renowned Lasik and Refractive surgeon , best known for ICL/IPCL surgeries with strong clinical data and publications and National Level Presentations to back up her skills.
Completed her FFA(Foundation Formative Assessment) in ICO examination with Grade B.
